HEALTH EDUCATION

Tame that Temper by Jamie Wells (Outschool): February 2020 - I liked this course and would recommend it. It’s not amazing, but, for starters, it was something I felt was important and there just isn’t a lot of great easy resources for health education.

PHYSICAL EDUCATION

Home and play. Dance, soccer, swimming, ect.

ENGINEERING (STEM FOCUS)

Lego Early Engineering - we are enrolled with this course through My Tech High.

HOLIDAYS

For every holiday we stock up with holiday books from the library. And then here are some specifics we’ve used.

Thanksgiving: Little Social Studies: Pilgrims and Native Americans

Christmas: Christmas Science Experiments

Christ’s Birth - Aside from reading and watching about Christ’s Birth, we also visited Temple Square and viewed The Christ Child.

Valentines: Valentine’s Color By Number

St. Patrick’s Day: We just read about 3 leaf clovers and Saint Patrick - he is credited for teaching the 3 leaf clover as a symbol of the Trinity so this is something we discussed as we read about him and the 1st AOF and how we believe they are three separate beings, but with one purpose. Here is an article on that.

Easter/Holy Week: The Small Seed and CFM Easter (I love The Small Seed, but I also liked how CFM for Easter week tied in Christ’s visit to the Americas.
